How it works

Every day, at your local midnight, a brand-new puzzle appears. The same puzzle appears for everyone on Earth that day.

Deterministic puzzles

A puzzle is not random by accident. Its identity is the date plus a generator version; the pattern is derived from that identity with a seeded algorithm. That is why the exact same pattern plays for everyone, why archive days replay identically forever, and why nothing needs a server at midnight.

The loop

1. Play. One challenge, about a minute.
2. Score. Points for completed rounds, accuracy, speed.
3. Share. A spoiler-free card — score and streak, never the pattern.
4. Come back tomorrow. Your streak calendar keeps the ritual honest.

Your data

Scores, streaks and the timezone you chose live only in your browser's local storage, in a single versioned file. You can export it, import it, or delete everything at any time. Nothing is ever uploaded. Your data is never sensitive: a nickname and game history, nothing else.

Resilience

If your storage is cleared, corrupted, or unavailable, DailyBrain still starts and you can still play today. Progress is only and always local.
